Northwaters Wilderness Program

Our wilderness canoe trips take us through some of the most beautiful country in the world, creating opportunities for all experience levels that focus on learning from the land and one another in a spirit that honors awareness, balance, and trust. We believe that when participants learn how to handle life on the trail, they become better equipped to handle life in general. Programs available for girls (ages 11-14,) coed (ages 13-19), and boys (ages 10-19) in separate 2, 3 1/2, and 7 weeks sessions.

Integrated, non-competitive camp for children & teens with & without ADHD, LD, NLD, & AS. Social skills program, academic program and over 50 sports and activities. Small cabin groups, professional staff, 2-to-1 ratio. Comfortable lakeside cabins.

Chikopi offers each boy a unique experience. We provide a safe camp with a summer full of fun and excitement in a wide variety of land and water sports, adventure, canoe tripping and much more. Our LIT program is a leadership course for 16-year-olds who want to learn to instruct and counsel children.
