This camp takes place in Cape Hatteras, in an area of North Carolina called the Outer Banks. The Outer Banks, and particularly "Hatteras," as it is known, is an East Coast destination for both beginner and professional surfers. On this 11 day adventure, you will get to explore and surf the barrier islands of the Outer Banks, kayak the Pamlico Sound, climb the Hatteras Lighthouse, and visit the tallest dune on the East Coast at Jockey's Ridge State Park!

Summer Camp for the Bright, Curious and Creative - the Preserve is a non-competitive, natural science camp for children rising into the 2nd through 12th grades. We use wilderness skills, creative arts, adventure & the exhilaration of outdoor discovery to inspire young minds. Base Camp is for rising 2nd-9th grades, Expeditions is for rising 9th-12th grades.

Our Wrightsville Beach Overnight Surf Camp takes place on the pristine beaches of Southeastern North Carolina. With summertime water temperatures in the low 80's and modest, manageable waves, Wrightsville Beach is perfect for beginner surfers. Our overnight teen summer camps are exciting fun filled weeks of surfing, improving your skills, and exploring different coastal ecosystems. We stay in dorm room suites on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
