    Pinebrook Farms Summer Horsemanship Camp

    We have conducted Summer Horsemanship Camps at Pinebrook Farms since 1975. The goal of our co-educational, resident camps is for youngsters to safely learn good horsemanship, while having a great time in a family oriented atmosphere. Activities and programs also teach responsibility, cooperation, courage and self-esteem. The camp is licensed by the Texas Department of Health, and its horsemanship program has been approved, and site accredited by CHA, Certified Horsemanship Association. Every year, since 1998, Pinebrook Farms has received a Certificate of Award for Safety by the North American Horseman's Association.

    Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas - Camp Gambill

    Enjoy waterfront and wilderness activities on a peaceful lake at Camp Gambill. Cozy cabins make for a comfortable stay. On the water, Girl Scouts can swim, kayak, sail, and paddleboat. On land, they'll try leatherworking, outdoor cooking, archery, fishing, and more. Camp activities progress by age. As girls grow through the program, they get fun new opportunities.     Camp Bette Perot is all about the horses and a trip to the barn is the highlight of each day. Hands-on horse activities include trail rides and/or arena classes. Campers can also swim, practice archery, and complete ropes course challenges. They'll try their hands at leatherworking, wilderness exploration, and more. Camp activities progress by age.     GameBreaker Boys/Girls Lacrosse Camp at the University of Dallas

    The University of Dallas will again be the home of our boys land girls acrosse camp this summer in Texas. Join GameBreaker's top-notch staff for a great week of lacrosse improvement and fun! Overnight campers will stay in the campus dorms and all meals will be in the dining hall. Overnight and extended day camper options are offered at this TX lax camp.

Summer day camps are also ideal for younger campers who are perhaps not yet ready for an overnight camp experience. If your child likes to stay busy with a variety of different sports, crafts and other activities, this may be your best camp choice. Some day camps require you to drop off and pick up your child, while others provide transportation from central locations. Some camps provide lunches and snacks, and others do not. The kinds of sports and activities will vary from camp to camp, so be sure to inquire ahead of time about the kinds of activities that will be offered to your child.

      Highlights: Day camps offer the widest variety of sports and activities, though some do specialize. The camp day is typically shorter for children, making it perfect for younger kids.
