Indian Rock Summer Camp is located on a 280-acre nature preserve, featuring a pristine 9-acre lake for swimming, fishing, and canoeing/kayaking, a working farm with a garden and animals, live native species of wild animals, two wigwams, miles of hiking trails, and both indoor and outdoor learning environments. Our educational programs are designed to inspire the appreciation and enjoyment of nature, by providing our campers with outdoor experiences to foster discovery, exploration and adventure.
Our counselors are all specially trained and certified, and many have been with the camp for five years or more. Specialized programs include colonial and Native American programs, blacksmithing, archery, tree climbing, photography/film-making, canoeing/kayaking, rocketry, STEM programs, theatre, and much more. Our self-contained Earth Magic program is available for children entering Kindergarten, and our Counselor in Training program provides an opportunity for those age 14-18 to gain a valuable. mentored work experience while earning community service hours. Camp runs from 9 AM to 4 PM, with before care available beginning at 6:30 AM, and after care available until 5:30 PM, for a small additional fee. Scholarships are also available for low income families. Come for one week or all nine!
