Soccer camp is designed to bring out the love of sports in your child. Depending on the focus of the camp, your child maybe trained to enhance his or her player performance in key components of soccer – be it tactical, technical, physiological or psychological. To be a great soccer player, the camp helps your child in developing the needed skills like ball mastery, offense, defense, athlete nutrition, strength and conditioning, and stress management. Through recreational activities at the camp, your child will develop leadership skills, enhance self-esteem and learn respect for others. This type of camp caters to different age groups, from 4 to 17, and usually runs from one to several weeks. Girls' soccer camp caters exclusively to girls, and there are camps that are for boys only or coeds.
